Magnolia blends classic American sounds with a modern edge. Formed in 2021 by Joey Viola, the band draws on a diverse range of influences, from Bob Dylan’s storytelling to the energy of southern rock, with a sound rooted in soul, blues, and country, After releasing their debut EP See What I Find in 2022 and their self-titled album in 2024, the band continues to push musical boundaries while staying connected to the rich traditions of American music.

The 12-track powerhouse album discusses that cross country roadtrip. Traveling from New Orleans up to Ohio during the Spring with the Magnolia’s bloom.

Pay particular attention to bluesy vibes of “Jubilee”, the production and structure of “Among Other Things” and the songwriting and guitar work in “Magnolia”.
